Pulau Ubin and
NPCC Campsite
Visit
Synopsis by Kelven Choo
It's indeed a very exciting and eye-opening experience for us to
hike Pulau Ubin and visit NPCC Campsite today. Though we in NPCC
Alumni shared different experience during our NPCC days as we were from
different batches, today's visit has indeed brought back the feeling of
togetherness.
It was a great learning experience as well as quality time for
our family and friends.
Imagine, when was the last time that you could really walk for
more than 5 km with your family or friends and even have time to chat
or discuss about spiders, durian trees, coconut trees, ants, etc, while
enjoying the beautiful scenery?
And we must really thank NPCC for allowing us to visit its new
campsite too.
And I must say that the campsite is totally very different from
the way it was.
Yes, that's the way to read the map
Ah! the Map of Ubin Island
Entrance of Ubin campsite
Jetty! Now it has a shelter with railings.
That's new - a resort welcome board!
Imagine! They make pavement now. Used to be sand path, you know.....
Now you see me! Never mind about the Rock.
That's the way to take picture with the Rock!
Amazing race - is that the canteen?
Alright kids! This is the way to eat.
Nope, just some ping pong stuff!?!
They make Rest shelter too!
Think this is the Seafood restuarant.
Why keep taking pictures?
Cheeze, just hope the film runs out by now!!
