Siew Lea joined Zhonghua NPCC Unit as a cadet in 1991. Due to the burning passion with NPCC, she continued as a Cadet Inspector while doing pursuing a Diploma in Business Studies with Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Over the 10 years with Zhonghua NPCC Unit, together with ex-CIs and ex-TOs, she contributed in its growth from an unheard-of "village" to a well-known "city" for its campcraft skills and excellent cadets' performances in various activities. She was also actively involved with Area 5 and HQ activities such as area camps, National Camp '96, Leadership and Supervisory Course, etc. Although currently Siew Lea is busy building her career, she still makes a point to volunteer for charity works. Her aim in joining NPCC Alumni is to rally ex-NPCC members who share the same passion to help the Corps and society.
