DSP(Ord) Ong Siong Seng joined the first batch of NPCC in Secondary 2 in Anglo-Chinese Secondary School in 1971. He became Cadet Inspector in 1974/75 in Outram Secondary School. While servicing in the Police full-time National Service as a Company Commander in Police Academy, he was still helping out in the school. He was also involved in the St. John Ambulance Brigade as an officer. He was the first NS Commanding Officer in charge of the pioneer Queenstown Neighbourhood Police Centre(NPC). Married with 3 children, he is in his family business marketing handtools. An active member of the Geylang Serai Resident Committee, he is also very involved in his church activities.
