Patrick is currently running his own designing and printing business. He joined the National Police Cadet Corps in 1981 and went on to serve as a Cadet Inspector till the age of 22.

Having very high enthusiasm, Patrick continued to serve as a Honorary Instructor to train and pass on his knowledge to various schools as Deyi Secondary School (6 years), Xinmin Secondary School (6 years) and finally in Bowen Secondary School.

Patrick joined the NPCC Alumni as one of the pioneers and was elected to the Management Committee to manage the membership data and renewal.  After serving in the Management Committee 2 years in a row, Patrick decided to focus on his business and let newer members have the opportunity to run the NPCC Alumni.
