Roy Teo Soon Lye was a member of the NPCC at Serangoon Garden Secondary School from 1969 to 1974. He attained the rank of Cadet Inspector of NPCC in 1973 and returned to his alma mater to assist the teacher-in-charge of NPCC activities.
Roy left the NPCC in 1974. He was enlisted into National Service in Dec 1974 as an Officer Cadet at the SAFTI Officer Cadet School (OCS). He was commissioned in Oct 1975 as a Second Lieutenant and rose to the rank of Major in the SAF. He retired from the SAF in 2011. Currently, he is the managing director of Vanguard Investigation and Security Services Pte Ltd. |
